COGNIFOG at HiPEAC Conference 2025: Advancing Edge-Cloud Computing and Security

COGNIFOG was proudly represented at the HiPEAC Conference 2025, where our coordinator, Selma Azaiez, Ph.D. (CEA-List), showcased key advancements in the project’s approach to intelligent edge-cloud integration, system monitoring, and cybersecurity. This prestigious event brought together researchers, industry experts, and technology leaders to explore cutting-edge innovations in computing systems.

During her presentation, Selma provided an in-depth look at COGNIFOG Workflows, demonstrating how the project is streamlining edge-to-cloud integration for more efficient and scalable computing environments. She also introduced The Dashboard, a user-friendly interface that enables seamless system monitoring and control, helping organizations manage complex deployments more effectively. Another highlight was Polygraph, a visualization tool designed to enhance system analysis, providing deeper insights into real-time operations. Additionally, she outlined the Security Tools developed within COGNIFOG, which strengthen cybersecurity measures to protect data and resources across distributed cloud and edge infrastructures.

The presentation, co-authored by CEA, eBOS, and CYSEC, underscored the collaborative effort behind COGNIFOG’s technological advancements. It highlighted how the project is tackling the challenges of resource orchestration, security, and intelligent computing across the IoT-edge-cloud continuum.

In addition to the main presentation, Selma also delivered a poster session, offering attendees a closer look at COGNIFOG’s innovative contributions. The session provided an excellent opportunity to engage with experts in the field, exchange ideas, and discuss how cognitive orchestration can enhance cloud-edge deployments.

HiPEAC 2025 once again proved to be a fantastic platform for knowledge sharing, fostering new collaborations, and strengthening COGNIFOG’s position in the future of edge-cloud computing and AI-driven orchestration. We look forward to continuing these discussions and further contributing to the evolution of next-generation computing technologies.
