Securing AI Summit
Our project partners from CYSEC represented COGNIFOG at the Securing AI Summit that took place on the 11th of October in San Francisco, USA. Specifically, Patrick Trinkler, CYSEC's CEO participated in the panel session "Armor for AI: Implementing AI Security While Enabling AI Quality", covering the importance of security for AI systems, highlighting the distinctions between AI security and traditional software security, exploring industry trends related to AI security commitment among our customer base and addressing the challenges faced by enterprises in implementing AISec.
Development Conference on NAFPAKTOS 2030
Our project partner, Dr. Marios Prasinos, from Telematic Medical Applications (TMA) presented the COGNIFOG project during the Development Conference on NAFPAKTOS 2030 that took place on the 23rd-24th of September in Nafpaktos, Greece.

Smart City Expo USA
Our COGNIFOG partners, Urban Technology Alliance and Kentyou, will be sharing a booth at Smart City Expo USA which will be held next week (4-5 October) in New York City. UTA will take the opportunity of Smart City Expo USA to present the Cloud-Edge-IoT continuum COGNIFOG Project.
4th “Sports Cardiology 2023” Congress
Our project partner, Dr. Marios Prasinos, from Telematic Medical Applications (TMA) presented the COGNIFOG project during 4th “Sports Cardiology 2023” Congress, that took place on the 22nd-24th of September in Ancient Olympia, Greece.
COGNIFOG Plenary Meeting September 2023
On the 12th and 13th of September, the COGNIFOG consortium held its plenary meeting hosted by LABORATORY FOR MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS & AUTOMATION (LMS) at the University of Patras, in Patra, Greece. In this face-to-face meeting the consortium had the opportunity to discuss the project’s progress and achieved results so far, as well as the next actions.

LMS tour September 2023
On September 12th and 13th, the COGNIFOG consortium had the opportunity to tour the LABORATORY FOR MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS & AUTOMATION (LMS) facilities at the University of Patras in Patra, Greece. During this visit, our LMS partners, who are leading Trial 3 "Automated Edge-Cloud Continuum for smart manufacturing" showcased their efforts to establish dynamically reconfigurable shopfloors.
Concertation and Consultation on Computing Continuum: From Cloud to Edge to IoT

COGNIFOG featured on our partner's i2CAT Foundation press release
We are excited to be featured on our partner's i2CAT Foundation press release about their role in the COGNIFOG Project. i2CAT Foundation leads the development of the connectivity layer modules required to assure E2E connectivity between services deployed across the edge and cloud continuum, as well as user devices. COGNIFOG Kicks-Off
The kick-off meeting of the COGNIFOG project took place physically on the 12th-13th of January in Paris, France. This RIA project is funded under HORIZON Europe and officially started on the 1st of January 2023 and has a total duration of 36 months.
